Thomas N. Kokx age 77, of Ludington and formerly of Hart, MI passed away on June 22, 2015 at the Oakview Medical Care facility. He was born October 25, 1937 son of Merlin and Frances (Merchant) Kokx. Thomas married Sharon Wildy in 1992. After high school, he worked for A&P Foods for 17 years and for the Keebler Company for 25 years. Thomas was a member of the Hart Lions and Eagles Clubs, the Scottville JC's and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his children, Tamera (Brian) Kokx-Robb, Barbara Kozminski, Ronald (Emily) Kokx, Patrisha Shafer and Michelle Rae; his siblings, Ruth (Alan) Glover, Mary Ann (Joe) Merten, Robert (Nina) Kokx and Pearl (Joe) Miller; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sharon; brothers, Michael and James Kokx; and a grandchild.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Weare with Father Phillip Sliwinski officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the church one hour prior the service. Final interment will take place at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
