Mr. Thomas Edwin Lynn, age 82, of Muskegon and formerly of Hart, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 in Whitehall, Michigan. He was born February 10, 1928 in Hart to Thomas E. and Marva (Reynolds) Lynn. He served his country during World War II in the Army and then in the Army Air Corps. Mr. Lynn was retired from Teledyne Continental Motors where he worked as a machinist for 40 years.

He is survived by his former wife, Georgia Sue Copeland of Muskegon; children, JoAnn (Terry) Jarembo of Muskegon, Beverly (Larry) Struthoff of Texas, Debra (Jerry) Burr of Holton, Thomas E. Lynn, Jr., of Kansas, Roger (Nora) Lynn of California, Angela (Clarence) Szymanski of Manistee, Richard D. Lynn of Kansas and Michael J. Lynn of Muskegon; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; eight sisters, Dorothy Kubon of Custer, Edith Smith Kokx of Pentwater, Shirley Gulleff of Oregon, Bonnie (Gerald) Gotwalt of Sidney, Michigan, Sharon (Ken) Whitaker of Custer, Grace (Ed) Stevens of Custer, Denise (Dennis) Knudson of Scottville and Tina (Ron) Genthardt of Manistee; three brothers, Clarence (Marie) Lynn of Colorado, Dennis (Barb) Lynn of Manistee and Garth (Kathy) Lynn of Manistee; his best friend since childhood, Max Tate. He was prececded in death by his sister, Brenda Horwski; and five brothers, Bill Lynn, Robert Lynn, Gary "Cork" Lynn, Otto Miney and Arthur Miney.

Services for Mr. Lynn will be held Wednesday, August 25, 11:00 A.M., at King Funeral Home in Hart with Thomas E. Lynn, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. A luncheon will be offered at the Hart V.F.W. Hall following interment at Mt. Ulysses Cemetery in Crystal Valley. Those wishing to extend a lasting memorial are asked to consider the Alzheimers Association or the Hart V.F.W.
