Thomas "Tom" Matthew O'Grady, 38, currently of Hesperia, formerly from Palmyra, Pennsylvania and Tinley Park, Illinois, passed away after a long, hard battle with depression, on January 20, 2024. He was born August 30, 1985, in Olympia Fields, Illinois, the son of Timothy and Paulette (Miller) O'Grady.

Tom was a gentle giant who exuded humility, he could light up any room he entered, and was able to touch the lives of everyone he came across. He was a jack of all trades; Tom's unique abilities and knowledge allowed him to quickly advance in any position. Most recently he was beginning to take on responsibilities to grow as a future engineer. Tom was a passionate foodie and loved to create new dishes, sharing those creations with his family and friends. He also enjoyed the title of an amateur coffee aficionado, Tom enjoyed sharing his love of bougee coffee with those he loved. Tom also enjoyed spending his time playing video games, he was a computer whiz as well, fixing technical problems big or small with ease.

Music was an area that always spoke to Tom. He enjoyed a wide spectrum of music genres which enabled him to have a keen ear for finding music that spoke to the soul. He was never a proud or boastful person; however, he held a lot of pride in his title as "uncle." Tom will always be remembered for the countless laughs that have been shared, memories that have been made, and the joy that he brought into each of our lives.

Tom is survived by: his mother, Paulette M. O'Grady; father, Timothy J. O'Grady; brothers, Timothy F. (Chelsea) O'Grady and Michael P. O'Grady; sister, Kathleen E. O'Grady; and nieces and nephews, Ronan O'Grady, Charlotte O'Grady, and Kentley Fangman.

Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Irene O'Grady.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 North 72nd Avenue, Hart, MI 49420. Visitation will be held Thursday, one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life is being held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Columbia Crossing River Trail Center, Walnut Street, Columbia PA 17512.
