Miss Tiffany Joy Hardy, age 18, of Hart, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012. She was born January 4, 1994, in Muskegon. She was a senior at Hart High School and attended First Baptist Church of Hart. Tiffany loved sports, in particular soccer, but what she loved and cherished more than anything else was her family. Her smile would light up a room and everyone loved her giddy personality. She loved going to the beach and shopping right alongside her friends. Her dream was to become a registered nurse and attend Ferris University. Forever in our hearts, and always on our minds, till we meet again. We love you.Tiffany is survived by her parents, Pete and Amy Strait of Hart; three sisters, Emily (fiancé Joe Mitchell) Hardy of Shelby, Casey Hardy of Saugatuck, and Amanda Orr of Hart; five brothers, Trent (Sarah Fletcher) Hardy of Muskegon, Jacob Strait, Jacob Schultz, Kegan Wesley, and Kaden Wesley, all of Hart; grandparents, Shirley Balcolm of Hart, Don (Judy) Hardy of Holland, and Elda Strait of Shelby; and one nephew, Joseph Mitchell III of Shelby. Her aunts and uncles, John Strait of Shelby, Kevin (Patti) Balcolm of Casnovia, Pam Crawford of Fremont, Wyman (Candy) Balcolm of Florida, and Heidi (Todd) Goding of Holland, also survive. She is also survived by her biological father, Dane Hardy. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Elwood Strait; an aunt, Candy Hardy; and two uncles, Yancy Hardy and David Balcolm.Funeral services for Miss Hardy will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Hart with Pastor Mark M. Looman, Pastor Dennis Foley, and Pastor Ryan VanderZwaag officiating. Interment will be in Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 at King Funeral Home. The family requests that any remembrances be made payable to King Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
