Mr. Timothy James Dennert, age 56, of Hart passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015. He was born January 8, 1959, in Hart to Louis and Delores (Zalewski) Dennert. He graduated from Hart High School in the Class of 1977. Tim married Renee McClellan on August 1, 1981 at St. Gregory Catholic Church and they were married thirty-four years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Weare. Tim was employed at Howmet Corp. and was a farmer at Dennert Farms. There was no one like Tim that exemplified the love of family. Their children and grandchildren meant the world to him and his love will be forever cherished by them. Their daughter Amanda was affectionately known as Angel. Tim loved the out of doors enjoying camping and snowmobiling. He had a love for farming and horses. He and Renee also went antiquing for treasures. The MSU Spartans was his favorite team. Tim will be remembered for his baking, especially for his chocolate chip cookies with white chocolate chips.


Timothy is survived by his wife, Renee Dennert; one daughter, Amanda (Mike) DeRuiter of Hart; two sons, Andrew (Kayla) Dennert of Hart, and Eric (Michaela Alexander) Dennert of Hart; two grandsons, Landen DeRuiter and Aiden Dennert; his mother, Delores Dennert; one sister, Laura (Hal) Maas of Clio, MI; one brother, Louis (Cheryl) Dennert of Hart; mother-in-law, Nancy Anderson of Hart; father-in-law, Dan (Ruby) McClellan of Morley, MI, many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Dennert, sister, Christine Dennert, and grandparents John and Josephine Zalewski.

The Mass of the Resurrection for Tim will be offered on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Weare with Fr. Anton Tran presiding. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at King Funeral Home in Hart with a rosary being recited at 6:00 pm.
