IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tracey Jo
Ackley-Norris
November 10, 1965 – October 11, 2023
Tracey Ackley-Norris was born November 10, 1965, to Diana and Warren Whelpley. She passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2023, at her home.
She was a dedicated employee for Shape Corp in Grand Haven for over 25 years. Tracey took pride in her work and making her house feel like a home, not only for her four children, but for their friends and family as well. She was genuine: a loving wife, mother, coworker, sister, and friend. She was always willing to help in whatever way she could. She co-founded and directed a nonprofit in her grandsons' memory. Kyle's Projects mission was to "Save Kids, One Seat At a Time." Tracey hosted and volunteered car seat safety events and car seat giveaways throughout Muskegon and Kent Counties. Tracey was previously a licensed car seat safety technician and was active in helping families learn how to safely travel with children. She adopted the roadway on Maple Island Road, ensuring its cleanliness and care in Kyle's memory. She was the sassiest little lady with the fiercest heart and will be remembered fondly by many.
She is survived by: her husband, Norman Norris; her children, Sarah, Courtney, Felicia, and Chelsie Ackley; her stepchildren, Coty and Sidney Norris; her grandchildren, Ryleigh, Dylan, Madysson, Ayden, and Raylee Ackley, Brooklynn Hawk, Reagan, Lily, and Remington Blackney, and Atlas Norris; her siblings; and a multitude of nieces, nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kyle McGuire, and her parents.
There will be a celebration of life at her home, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers and monetary donations, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
