Trenton Hugh Binns, 41, of Twin Lake, passed away June 10, 2026, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born January 11, 1985, in Sarasota, Florida.
You could always find Trent tinkering on something; he loved auto restoration, BMX and Mountain biking, photography, fishing, woodworking, painting, drawing, and most recently Trent and Kasey were learning stained glass projects so he could refurbish his grandpa’s grandfather clock.
Trent’s favorite thing to do was share his hobbies and interests with his children. Aiden’s favorite activities he enjoyed doing with his dad were art projects, working on cars, mountain biking, listening to music, and cracking jokes with each other. Some of Mya’s favorite activities she loved sharing with her dad were listening to music and having a battle of who’s music they could get louder. Trent and Mya could talk about cameras, photography, and sharing their photos with each other for hours on hours. Mya also loved just driving around in the MG with no destination in mind.
On May 18, 2019, Trent married Kasandra (Varner) Binns in Marshall, Michigan, and she survives him along with: his children, Aiden Binns and Mya Baumann; siblings, Krista (Roy) Musgrove, Kyle (Elsie) Binns, Luke (Savanna) Binns, Seth (Ashley) Binns, Micah (Maria) Binns, Holly (Elijah) Vandervelde, Jenna (Gunnar) Lofquist, Sean Binns, Jeremy Binns, Lydia Binns, Carly Binns, and David Binns; parents, Pamela (Howell) Binns and Thomas Binns; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Trent was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Richard Hugh Binns and Karen Jean Howell; and his paternal grandparents, Thomas Binns Sr. and Dorothy Bowen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM, Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 North 72nd Avenue, Hart, MI 49420.
