Vincent Michael Czarnecki, Jr., 84, of Hart, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility. He was born November 5, 1934, in Grand Rapids, the son of Vincent and Harriett (Ropoleski) Czarnecki.

Vincent proudly served his country in the US Navy for 5 years.

Vincent and his wife, Dolores, joined their hearts in marriage February 20, 2000, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He and Dolores continued to live there for several years, and he got to take advantage of the warm climate to swim and get a tan. Besides swimming, he also enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Vincent is survived by: his loving wife, Dolores; children, Gerald Vandenheuvel, Thomas Vandenheuvel, Joni Harjes, Henry (Jennifer) Vandenheuvel, and Charles Vandenheuvel; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard (Theresa) Czarnecki, Michael (Germaine) Czarnecki, Theresa Haylett, Rita (Bruce) Haddow, Margarite (Mike) Pintek, and Mary Pohwalski; and several nieces and nephews.

Vincent was preceded in death by: his parents, Vincent and Harriett Czarnecki; sister, Barbara Hoogerhyde; and brothers, Joseph Czarnecki and John Czarnecki.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 6, 2019, at St. Joseph Weare Catholic Church, 2380 W Jackson Rd, Hart, with Father Phillip Sliwinski presiding.   Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Weare Catholic Church.
