Mrs. Viola Grace Bursley, age 90, of Hart, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at home.  She was born October 17, 1925, in Crystal Valley to Martin and Clara (Norton) Rockwell.  She attended school and married Clyde Edgar Bursley on June 10, 1943 in Hart.  They were married sixty-eight years before his passing on February 25, 2012.  Mrs. Bursley was a faithful follower of Christ and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hart. Being a Christian woman, she was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She always had a listening ear to anyone that needed her. Viola enjoyed needle work, cooking and baking. She was especially known for her Boiled Raisin Cookies.

Viola is survived by three daughters, Barbara (Larry) Flood of Hart, Carol (Gerry) Puffer of Hart, Becky (Chris) Romero of Hart; one son, Clyde (Diann) Bursley, Jr. of Woodland Park, CO; twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gilbert (Deanna) Rockwell of Muskegon.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Bursley Sr.; two brothers, Hollis Rockwell, Donald Rockwell, and one sister, Velda Jensen.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bursley will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church Of Hart with Pastor Mark M. Looman officiating.  Interment will be in Hart Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home in Hart and Tuesday one hour prior to the service at First Baptist Church Of Hart, 3258 North 72nd Avenue, Hart, MI.  The family requests that any memorials be directed to First Baptist Church Of Hart, 3258 North 72nd Avenue, Hart, MI 49420.
