Mrs. Violet Elaine Bengtsson, age 82 of Hart, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010. She was born in Muskegon on March 10, 1927 to Russell and Eva (Block) Conyers. On December 14, 1946 in Muskegon, she married Hugh Bengtsson. Mrs. Bengtsson was a homemaker and a member of the Hart United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Hugh Bengtsson of Hart; their children, Larry Russell (Maryann) Bengtsson of Dowagiac, MI, Sharon Bengtsson Huff of Hudsonville, MI, Robert Hugh (Ann) Bengtsson of Battle Creek, MI, Bradley Dean (Angela) Bengtsson of Mesa, AZ; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Edna Jurgenson. A private family funeral service will be held with Pastor Ben Lester officiating. Interment will be in the Hart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Hart United Methodist Church.
