Mrs. Virginia K. Lynn, age 67, died Sunday April 1, 2007. She was born in Elkhart, IN on August 17, 1939 to Garold and Lucille (Knight) Swoveland. Virginia married Thomas Lynn on July 8, 1983 in Ravenna. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and was employed at the Parsons Care Home, later known as the Seedings Care Home. Virginia loved the outdoors and animals, especially horses and was a 4-H Leader with the Young Americans 4-H Club. She loved gardening, raising vegetables of all kinds and beautiful flowers. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She enjoyed putting up the outdoor Christmas displays and bringing her baked cookies to the neighbors. Her other passions were Blue Gill fishing and ceramic painting. Virginia loved her husband and family very much, even to her very end. Virginia was also proud to over come her addiction to alcohol through the assistance of A.A. She was always grateful to Barb Singleton for being a great source of comfort and support to her. Lory Jo (Tom) Dreyer of Greenville, MI, Kathryn Ann (Tracey) Robertson of Muskegon and Lisa Marie (Bill) Smith of Hesperia. 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. 2 brothers, Jerry Swoveland of San Diego, Ca and John McConnal of CA, 1 sister, Delpha Swoveland of CA. She was receded in death by a brother, Ned Swoveland in 1963 and by her parents and grandparents. The Funeral Service for Virginia will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Mt. Ulysses Cemetery in Crystal Valley with Pastor Dan Vickey officiating. Memorials may be given to the Heartland Hospice.
