Mr. Warren Dale Jeffery, age 94, of Pentwater, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013. He was born August 20, 1918, in Medina, OH to Leon and Lucy (Williams) Jeffery. Mr. Jeffery was a graduate of Ashland College, Ashland, Ohio, where he received his B.A. degree. He was employed at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a salesman in the industrial products division. In Cleveland, Ohio he married the former Estella Leininger on May 10, 1944, and she preceded him in death on April 1, 2012. Mr. Jeffery served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army and finally retired from the military service in the U.S. Air Force Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was a member of VFW Elwin Chadwick Post # 6017 Pentwater. Warren was very proud of his service in the military and his Irish heritage. He was very devoted to his wife.

Warren is survived by two daughters, Kay (William) Floyd-Moore of Pentwater, and Colleen (Rick) VanDellen of Grand Rapids; six grandchildren, Jennifer Floyd, Jill (Tony) Carattini, Jane (Kevin) Richie, Jeffery (Nicole) VanDellen, Jesse VanDellen, Jordyn VanDellen; two great-grandsons, Silas VanDellen and Gabriel Carattini. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Estella and his sister, Lucille Watson.

The Memorial Service for Mr. Jeffery will be held at a later date from the St. James Episcopal Church, Pentwater with the Rev. Fr. Sam Morrison presiding. Interment will be in the Pentwater Township Cemetery. The family requests that any memorials be directed to St. James Episcopal Church, 82 S. Wythe, Pentwater, MI 49449.
