Warren Joseph Van Allsburg, 71, of Kingsley, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Munson Medical Center, in Traverse City, after bravely battling ALS. He was born February 23, 1952, in Grand Rapids, the son of the late Warren and Margaret (Aernouts) Van Allsburg.

He was always eager to help customers and was admired by the younger employees for his knowledge and physical strength. In his spare time, Warren loved to hunt but more than anything, he cherished time spent with his family. All his life, Warren was a mover and a shaker and a hard worker. He faced ALS without a complaint, sustained by his faith and his family.

He is also survived by: his children, Kelly Van Allsburg of Kingsley and Keith (Lisa) Van Allsburg of Manton; grandchildren, Chance Vennema, Kylie Vennema, Dylan Knight, Jacalyn Knight, and Ashlynn Van Allsburg; siblings, William (Jean) Van Allsburg, Ellen (Dr. Mark) O'Brien, and Patricia (Joseph) Sobczak.
