Wayne Elmore Olsen

February 4, 1932 - June 4, 2025

Wayne Elmore Olsen, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully in Whitehall, Michigan. He was married to the love of his life, Aloha Olsen (née Rollenhagen), for over 70 wonderful years.

Wayne was the proud father of Dr. Wayne Louis (Ann) Olsen (Retired Colonel, U.S. Army) and Kimberly Olsen Shaw. He was a devoted grandfather to Dr. Andrew Wayne (Stephanie) Olsen, Major Guy Francis (Sarah) Shaw Jr., Rebecca Mary (Ben) Premo, David Wayne Shaw, & Kelsey Aloha (Billy Donovan) Shaw. He was a beloved brother, uncle, & cousin to his many loving family members & a cherished great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren.

Wayne dedicated many years of his life to working with J.C. Penney, managing stores in four different states. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to lead with kindness.

A dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, Wayne found joy in his many gardens, traveling, and spending quality time with his family. He had a gift for building, a knack for fixing, and a soul that showed up for others without being asked.

Wayne will be deeply missed and never forgotten by his family and many dear friends.

In accordance with Wayne's wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
