Mr. Willard L. Kokx, age 78 of Hart, died peacefully at home on Sunday, February 8, 2009. Mr. Kokx was born on September 18, 1930 in Weare, on the farm that he was proud to have had in the family for four generations. "Willie" as family, friends and neighbors all called him, was a jolly, yet gruff old fella, who would have done anything for anyone if he could have. Mr. Kokx attended Cargill and St. Joseph Catholic Schools as a young boy and was a lifetime farmer. He is survived by his two sisters, Ethel Ewing and Lorraine Bray and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Mamie (Greiner) Kokx and two brothers, Lavern and Lawrence Kokx. The Mass of the Resurrection will be offered Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Anton Tran presiding. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will Wednesday, one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
