Mr. William Dee Brooks, age 74, of Dade City, FL, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018, at Marliere Hospice Care Center in New Port Richey, FL. He was born February 6, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan. He was employed at Eaton Manufacturing of Battle Creek, Michigan as a machinist, until his retirement. Bill married the former Patricia Ann Carpenter in Hart, Michigan on February 17, 2008.

Bill was known for his great outgoing personality and for being a fun teaser. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was involved racing remote controlled cars and was a member of a remote controlled car club.

Bill is survived by his wife: Patricia Ann Brooks, of Dade City, FL , three daughters: Teresa (Earl) Shepherd of Marshall, MI, Anita Montagna of Daytona, FL and Sherry Brown of Battle Creek, MI, and one son: Gregory (Denell) Brooks of Bellevue, MI;   Stepson, James (Michelle) Emig of OK; Stepdaughter, Michelle (Brett) Beachum of Hart, MI; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren; his beloved canine friends, Harley D and Cuddles. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Hardenburg.

The Funeral Service for Mr. Brooks will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 2:00 pm from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Doug Brown officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at The Church Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2852 North 72nd Avenue, Hart, MI.
