IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Curtis
Crane
November 27, 1944 – August 4, 2024
William Curtis Crane (Bill Crane) passed away August 4, 2024.
For such a quiet man, Bill Crane touched and was loved by so many. Bill was known for his quiet kindness, sense of hum0or, hazel eyes, and his grin. Following in his father's footsteps, he was hard working and very proud of his many years as a man that could do anything.
Bill was a "kind and loyal friend" through the years and through many hours and outings for camping, fishing, and loved going out for dinner.
Above all else, Bill was a dedicated and loving family man. He loved his daughter Lenora Curtis, step children that he loved as his own: Dawn Guitar, Kathy Buchanan, Howard Schemke, Gail Deal, Ronald Crane, and his several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He enjoyed time spent with his siblings – Carolyn, Gale, Linda, Charles (Bud), Bruce, and Lyle. There was talk of memories, things done and things to do, and always much joking and laughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Vera Crane, siblings Carolyn Musselman, Gale Crane, Chrales (Bud) Crane, and Kerry Crane.
The Celebration of Life will be held at the Kalkaska Senior Center on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Elk Rapids Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
