Obituary
Mr. William Carl Lucas, age 84, of Grand Rapids and formerly of Pentwater, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013. He was born January 20, 1929, in Greensberg, Pennsylvania to Zelmer and Amelia (Genau) Lucas. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. William married Ada Vironet in 1959 and she preceded him in death on August 13, 1994. He was an engine operator for the C & O Railroad Car Ferry out of Ludington.
William is survived by his friends, Elmo and Marian Freeland of Pentwater. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, and his brothers, Gregory Lucas, and Robert Franklin Lucas.
The Graveside services for Mr. Lucas will be held in the spring at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Hart.
