William "Bill" Peterson, preceded in death by his parents William A. and Rosa Peterson, passed away on August 6, 2024, in Ludington, Michigan, the town in which he was born on May 15, 1950.

Bill is survived by three sisters; Jeanne (Bob) Foster, Rosa (Don) Bailey, Shelley (Steve) Eastman, and two brothers; Leif (Jean) Peterson and Tom (Beth) Peterson.

He will always be remembered as a gentle person, with a big heart, and a warm smile. If you were to ask him what he enjoyed most in life was drinking a cup of coffee (many times a day) and having "a smoke." Bill had a lot of health issues in his life starting with epilepsy as a child ending with lymphoma cancer as an adult. He gave the "big C" a good fight but at the end the Lord called him home.

Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery and handled through Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel.

A celebration of life will be held when his immediate family, friends, and relatives are more readily available in the spring.
