William (Bill) Herman Wagner, 88, of Rothbury, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025. He was born March 2, 1936, Rothbury, the son of Herman and Annamae (Pelton) Wagner.

William proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He graduated from Montague High School and attended the University of Michigan. After his service, Bill worked as an accessor, Grant Township's County Clerk, and a farmer.

Bill enjoyed politics, farming, and spending time with his family.

William is survived by: his brother, James (Joyce) Wagner; sister, Carol Omans (Wagner); and several nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Annamae Wagner and sister, Joyce Fekken (Wagner).

A graveside service with Military Honors will held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Oak Grove Cemetery, in Rothbury. Following the services, a luncheon will be held at Grant Township Hall, 7134 S Oceana Dr, Rothbury, MI 49452.
