William Joseph "Joe" Wilkinson, 61, of Bitely, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022. He was born March 1, 1961, the son of Robert and Shirley Wilkinson, also of Bitely.

Joe was a graduate of Walkerville High School. Following high school, Joe proudly served his country for four years, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Joe was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and tending his garden.

On March 16, 2021, in Newaygo, Joe married Paula Irene Conklin, and she survives him. He is also survived by: his three children, Joseph (Sara), Josh (Monique), and Roshell (Jon) DeYoung; four grandchildren, Alexis and Allison DeYoung and Katelyn and Easton Wilkinson; four step-children, Desirae, RJ, Jason, and Jessica; his mother, Shirley Wilkinson; sisters, Cindy (Mike) Nichols, Cheryl (Rebel) Payne, and Diane (Rusty) Full; brother, John Wilkinson; and several nieces and nephews.

Joe married Leona Agens in 1981, and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by: his father, Robert Wilkinson.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Bitely-Brohman Community Center, 9051 North Woodbridge Drive, Bitely, MI 49309.
