William "Lil Bill" John Wilson, 71, of Twin Lake, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. Bill was born on October 24, 1946, to William and Rose Wilson.

Bill worked for Howmet for many years as a machinist. In 1990, he married the former Bambi Lewis. Together they were blessed with 27 years of marriage. Bill served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed shooting, fishing, a good campfire, a cold beer, and good company. He was a strong-willed, loving, caring, and unique man. He will be deeply missed.

Bill is survived by his wife Bambi; son, William; grandchildren, William and Samantha; sisters, Ellen (Howard) Cooper and Arlene (Jim) Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Carol Stidham.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service – White Lake Chapel, 413 S. Mears Ave. Whitehall, Michigan 49461. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be directed to the Muskegon Humane Society.
