Mrs. Wilma C. Belland, age 97, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016. She was born November 6, 1918, in Imlay City, Michigan to Milton and Bessie (Anderson) Ward. On January 24, 1942, she married Mr. Robert Belland in Ludington, Michigan. Mrs. Belland enjoyed golfing and gardening. She was employed at General Motors as a payroll clerk and had retired to travel with her husband Robert to an overseas work assignment for 6 years.
Wilma is survived by one daughter: Mary Jo Grogan, one son: Dennis W. Belland, six grandchildren, five and a half great grandchildren, and one sister: Rosaleen Sterner She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2007, and a son, Bob Belland, in 2011.
The Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Belland will be offered Thursday August 25, 2016 at 11:00 am from St. Simon Catholic Church with Father Wayne B. Wheeler Jr. presiding. Interment will be made in the Pere Marquette Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday one hour prior to the service at St. Simon Catholic Church, 702 East Bryant Road, Ludington, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the St. Simon Catholic Church Food Pantry.Visitation
