October 20, 1929 – July 1, 2019
Wilma B. Riley, 89, of Mears, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, July 1, 2019, at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility in Hart. Wilma was born October 20, 1929, in Muskegon, the daughter of Henry and Arley (Northrop) Beadle.
Wilma was a 1946 graduate of Hart High School, and a 1950 graduate of West Suburban College – Nursing, where she earned her RN. She worked for many years as an RN and was the bookkeeper for Riley Orchards. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. Her greatest devotion was to her Lord, who she gave her life to in high school, and loved and served with her whole heart for her whole life.
Wilma is survived by: her husband of 67 years, John W. Riley; children, Jean (Barry) Palmerton, Mark (Jean) Riley, Karen (Dave) Nienhuis, Daniel (Colleen) Riley, and Beth (Andy) Snider; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and sister, Bonnie J. Spitler.
Wilma was preceded in death by: her parents, Henry and Arley Beadle; and brothers, Lee C. Beadle, Buck D. Beadle, and David L. Beadle.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at First Baptist Church, 3258 N 72 nd Avenue, Hart, with Pastor Dennis Foley and Pastor Elvin Harden officiating. Interment will be in Mears cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oceana Christian School (OCS) or First Baptist Church.
