Yolanda Cole, 50, of Ludington, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019, at her home. She was born July 9, 1969, in Fremont, Ohio, the daughter of Miguel and Mary (Battice) Meza.

Yolanda married Randy Cole October 9, 1989, and together they were blessed with three children. Yolanda and Randy were active community members together. She was a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians.

Yolanda had many loves, including laughing her contagious laugh, having fun, being outside, kayaking, music, painting and being creative, and helping others. But most of all she loved her family. Yolanda was a loving mother and grandmother. She had such a positive outlook on life and will be missed dearly by many family and friends.

Yolanda is survived by: her children, Micheal Cole, Miranda (Jesse) Blanton, and Mariah (Christopher Stewart) Cole; grandchild, Atticus Stewart; mother, Mary Meza; sisters, Maria (Matt Scofield) Meza, Alicia (Sonnie) Smith, and Cristina (Rene) Aguilar; brother, Jose (Jodi) Meza; sister-in-law, Tammy Cole; father and mother-in-law, Jack (Carol) Cole;  and a host of other loving family and friends.

Yolanda was preceded in death by: her husband, Randy Cole; and father, Miguel Meza.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 19, 2019, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, 309 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, with Pastor Damon Beaver officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home.
