Melissa Ann West 58, of Kennett Missouri, left this world April 28, 2026 in her sleep. She had the most captivating blue eyes and intense stare; she was unforgettable! 

She drove tractors, harvesters, semi-trucks and SUVs. She loved her animals and fishing for rocks and fish. Most of all she identified with the homeless after being so in Berkeley California.

 Preceding her in death were parents, Charles Edger and Linda Lee West, sisters Shirley Harty and Vicki West. Surviving sister Eva and niece Michelle Edwards, brother Frankie West and cousins Rebecca Harty and Robert.

A Memorial dinner in her honor is scheduled at 5pm-6pm May 28, 2026, at Traverse City Veterans Memorial Park
